March 7-11 is the Biophysical Society's ' Biophysics Week. The BBS has organised a range of events across the UK to support this initiative and help raise awareness of our discipline.
The BBS runs a major biennial meeting of the UK biophysics community, along with a series of more frequent specialist meetings.
The University of Liverpool will be hosting the next biennial conference of the British Biophysical Society on 6-8 July 2016 “New Horizons and emerging biomedical challenges for Biophysics“.
On Monday 7th September academics from around the UK met to discuss “Teaching the physical aspects of the molecular biosciences”. It was a day intended to stimulate general discussion whilst also allowing us to occasionally focus on the nitty gritty.
